 During Dr. Copeland’s general practice residency in 2009-2010, he was exposed to changes in several areas of dentistry, particularly implant dentistry. Dr. Copeland was one of the first restoring dentists in Nebraska, working with the oral surgery chief resident, to successfully attempt tooth extraction, implant placement, and immediate temporization in one appointment. He was also one of the first to develop soft tissue with adjustable temporary implant crowns in the esthetic zone. This early education and continued dedication to learning has led to Dr. Copeland being a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Implants and TRI Implants. Dr. Copeland has spoken dozens of times to groups around the country on these and other dental topics. |
