Education Continuing education has been an important part of Dr. Copeland's career. Not only for him, but his passion to extend it to others. Dr. Copeland first received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry followed by Mastership in 2024. Mastership requires 1100 hours of continuing education in a wide variety of dental subjects with over 400 hours of hands-on experience. Dr. Copeland is also an educator and instrumental in modernizing the expanded functional dental assistant experience for the MDA. He was also instrumental in creating the Connect 4 Success dental conference for the MDA and served as the education director for nearly a decade. Dr. Copeland has also led a SPEAR study club for over ten years. Most recently, Dr. Copeland has joined the board of the Soft Skills Institute pioneered by JoAn Majors as a board member and content creator. The Soft Skills Institute has been a leader in intraoffice communication skills for many years.Dr. Copeland has a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry. The AGD Mastership (MAGD) is a prestigious honor, recognizing dentists who demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and excellence in patient care. To earn the MAGD distinction, dentists must complete extensive coursework, practical experience, and examinations across various dental disciplines. This achievement highlights their dedication to lifelong learning and enhances the quality of care they provide, setting them apart as leaders in the dental community. |
